Discover a favorite activity of the Yukon – ice fishing!

Enjoy with us a winter day outside Whitehorse – on one of the beautiful backcountry lakes. Surrounded by the landscape of the Ibex or Grey Mountains, a wonderful panorama awaits you.

We pick you up at your accommodation in Whitehorse and drive to one of the surrounding lakes. We will choose a nice sunny spot on the lake and your guide will instruct you in ice fishing.

In order to be able to go ice fishing, we first have to shovel the snow aside and drill a hole through the thick ice.
Everyone gets their own special fishing rod and try their luck at ice fishing. You can of course, take the fish you catch with you!

What is included:

• Lead by an experienced guide

Shuttle from Whitehorse to one of backcountry Lakes and back

Half day Ice fishing under instructions – 2.5 hours

Equipment (Fishing rod, bait, etc.)

• Yukon Fishing License
• Snacks and hot drinks

Shuttle from Hotel to Yukon Wide Adventures & back

Emergency equipment including Satellite communication

Not included:

Winter clothing (This can be rented from us – prior reservation is recommended)

Price: $205 per person – half day
